like i am a huge proponent of accessibility of knowledge; academia as a whole fucking sucks. but sometimes you NEED people to be well versed, knowledgeable and competent in a task. e-commerce is an industry filled with people either purposefully grifting, or doing so naively as a result of having zero idea how to make decisions on what they're doing. A.I. is going to make that so so much worse
